Cocker Feet
I was taught by a show person to trim the cocker foot in layers. A thick
coat helps a lot. Brush all the coat UP. Hold it with your non dominant
hand, and scissor the hair that is showing on the foot all the way around.
Comb a thin layer down, all around the foot. Scissor. Repeat this until
all the layers have been trimmed. Keep combing to get all the little
stragglies done. Now you have a lovely shaped foot, and can see a little of
the beveled look. You can now add to that. Basically, this takes out a
little of the bulk, while leaving enough coat to make a pretty finish. Hope
it helps.
