What are the benefits of advertising on the Groomers Lounge?


* Exposure

As of June, 2009 the main bulletin board consisted of over 15,000 pages. There were over 200,000 messages in 39 topics and 7958 registered members. The Banner Level and Premiere Level sponsors are seen on every one of those pages.

The Groomers Lounge website averages over 2 million hits per month with a growth of about 1000 new members a year.


* Privilege

As a sponsor, you are allowed to answer questions about your services or products and to give contact information. ONLY sponsors are allowed to give thier contact information.

Postings of non sponsor commercial websites are promptly removed.


* Industry Support

A portion of all advertising goes to support The Joyce Laughery Educational Award fund.

Ad Rates

"The Groomers Lounge" consists of 6 domain names as follows:Ads will appear in the appropriate areas on all 6 sites

The costs to add links to your ad page for a grooming shop in the THE GROOMERS DIRECTORY or your sideline
to grooming in GROOMERS SIDELINES are $5.00 a month, and are paid annually ($60.00 per year) plus a $20.00 set-up fee .
The costs to add links to your ad page for a grooming school in the PROFESSIONAL GROOMING SCHOOLS DIRECTORY are $10.00 a month, and are paid annually ($120.00 per year) plus a $20.00 set-up fee .
The costs to link to advertisment pages for other pet/supply related businesses in THE SPONSORS SECTION are as follows:
  • $20.00 set-up fee plus....

  • A single line (up to 35 letters and spaces) link in the "Also Sponsored By" section at Lounge (just under the "Banner Level Sponsors" section). $300.00 per yr.

  • A single line (up to 35 letters and spaces) link in the "Banner Level sponsor" section, and a 333W by 45H pixel, single image .gif in the rotating banner on the Bulletin Board pages $600 yearly. (This is also the same banner that appears at the top of this page. It is at the top all of the main topic pages on the Bulletin Board as well as numerous other pages throughout the site).

  • Double line links in either area are an additional $50.00 per yr.

  • Link placements start out at the top of the "Banner Level Sponsors" area, and gradually move down as their time left runs out.

  • Premiere spots which include an animated clickable .gif that stays at the top of the first page at the Lounge, and in the left bar of the Bulletin Board area are $1800.00 per yr. (plus $20. set-up fee) and you will need to supply correctly sized .gifs for these two areas. (The sizes are 310 W by 35 H pixels for the front page and 120 W by 60 H pixels for the left frame of the Bulletin Board)

  • There is a $20 fee for any link or image changes after the initial set up.

    Advertising is ONLY allowed in the above specified areas. Over posting of advertising related messages on the bulletin board is not allowed. You may answer previously asked questions and give contact information and website link only. By agreeing to advertise, you agree to abide by this rule. Violators are subject to ad removal with no refunds.
